ParticipantGuys, does anyone know is there is a centralized platform which highlights all planner land releases? I know Council websites sometimes indicate their plans for future land releases however to understand what is coming up you either have to look at council website individually or you have to source developers that are advertising the land releases. This is time consuming and confusing.
Happy to hear if there are other options? - October 6, 2020 at 8:12 pm #26296

ParticipantI haven’t come across a single source for this data yet. You could try and collate the data yourself from big developer sites that advertise new “communities” but it’s post the initial land release.
realestate.com.au has a page dedicated to this – https://www.realestate.com.au/new-land-estates/list/
Here is another one, however it is only for NSW – https://www.landcom.com.au/

ParticipantLancom is a developer. The same with the realestate.com information—it is all developer information congregated under one platform. All of this land has already been released and bought by developers. What I am referring to is ‘planned’ releases—areas that the government is planning to develop but has not released the land for purchase yet?

ParticipantI am fairly certain that such a central database does not exist. At least not one that is readily available to everyone. In saying that it would be fantastic if there was something of that nature.
