Rockingham is a city in Western Australia. It is situated about 43 kilometres south of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It was established as an outer suburb of Perth, but now it has its own identity and culture. The city has three main streets that intersect at the central roundabout known as “The Square.”

The City of Rockingham is an Australian city located in southwest Western Australia, about 230 kilometres south-southeast of Perth. Established in 1994, it was one of the first to be granted status as a regional city. The area has experienced significant growth since the late 1990s due to its proximity to Perth, which makes it an attractive destination for people who want to live there without the high cost of living associated with living in Perth itself.

There are many shops and services that can be found on these streets. These include pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and department stores. Rockingham also offers many outdoor activities for residents to enjoy such as bushwalking trails at Red Hill or golfing at Rockingham Golf Club on the Canning Highway.

The City of Rockingham is a local government area in the south-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The City of Rockingham was established on 1 July 2007, following the passing of the Local Government (Areas) Act 2005. This Act dissolved the former Shire of Rockingham and established three new local government areas within its former boundaries: The City of Rockingham, including an area north to Mandurah Road; The Shire of Murray; and The Shire of Waroona.

Rockingham is a coastal city with a population that has grown from 30,000 to 41,000 since 1998. It is situated approximately 70 kilometres south-east from Perth and covers an area stretching inland from Warnbro Sound at Mandurah Road to Kalgan River.
