We have seen a couple of very good years at HtAG. The organization has experienced substantial growth — we have gone from 200 subscribers in 2018 to an excess of 1,200 this year. There are many new features in the pipeline and we are also looking at expanding internationally, bringing data science to property professionals in New Zealand and Asia.
This growth has required that the executive team at HtAG begins focusing on structuring the business in such a way that we are prepared to meet the challenges that come with the demands of a growing business. We need to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers’ while simultaneously focusing on legislative and financial requirements of managing an expending enterprise.
Creating and maintaining an agile workplace and a disrupting business that remains aligned with the changing and turbulent market conditions has required the management team at HtAG to seek assistance from ‘magnates’ of the financial planning and business analysis world.
On that note, we are pleased to announce that Vedran Maric has been appointed to the role of Head of Finance and will be joining the HtAG board of directors. Mr. Maric has spent the last 11 years with Citibank Australia undertaking a variety of senior roles. His latest role “Vice President – Head of Operational Support and Strategy” was extensively focused on strategy, financial analysis, business intelligence and operational efficiency while managing a large team of diversified specialists across several international geographies.
Over the last twelve months Mr. Maric has founded an accounting and business consultancy practice with a unique focus on financial analysis and operational efficiency supporting small to medium enterprises across Australia. Mr. Maric is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business (major in accounting) and a Master of Applied Finance (specialization in banking).

“Property investment, like banking, is an industry ripe for change”, Mr. Maric commented. “for a long time now, the property investment industry has been dominated by the idolatry philosophy, giving preference to personas and marketing strategies when deciding on matters of property investing. This has seen many individuals and business suffer”.
Vedran continued, “guys at HtAG are pushing for emotionless property investing, so to speak, liberating individuals and institutions from the ‘perception’ based decision making and shifting their mindsets to focusing on the language of data as I prefer to call it. It is a revolutionary way of thinking and I strongly feel that the business model has a tremendous amount of potential. This is why I am so excited to be part of such a visionary team that has had the courage to put a different spin on investing” says Vedran.
Since Vedran’s introduction to HtAG, the executive team has been very busy in creating strategic plans that deal with future proofing of the organization; from the way HtAG introduces new features and customer plans to the way new and existing products are priced all focusing on maximizing the satisfaction of new and existing stakeholders.
“The fact that HtAG plans to introduce a sustainable eco system, where each employee becomes a business stakeholder while each customer also a business partner and a valued member of the team that deals with the introduction of new services is an innovative approach to running a business and one that is at the same time exciting and challenging”, Vedran concludes.
